ULTIMATE Teaching Moment

As the title says, I just had like an awesome teaching moment for not only my son, Mason, but for myself as well.
So, he comes to me and says, "Mom, my tablet needs cleaning, because it is not working properly."

So I say, "Ok Mason, no problem! So hey wait, are you telling me that it's NOT working properly because it's dirty? Hmmmm...you know what this is a valuable teaching moment! So apply that concept to yourself...if you're dirty and taking care of yourself, you're probably not going to work properly either, huh?"

He thinks for a moment, slightly smiles and says, "oh, yeah."

It's the moment as a Mom that you know that light went on!

And I think to myself, "Halleluia, a light just turned on...happy dance!"

I then say to my son, who is can be so stubborn about doing absolutely anything, "K, then why don't we take a nice bath in Mom & Dad's big jetted spa tub that needs some serious love and attention in the form of use!? Ya know take a break, relax, and then clean ourselves up at the same time....or you can take a shower?"

Oh and Side note: He was home from school that because he's wasn't feeling so well... so this conversation only made PERFECT sense!

So then after suggesting this...he says excitedly, "Yeah Mom...OK, thanks!"

LOVE is STRONG in this HOUSE people!

Have a GREAT day and get outside even if it's cold...the body needs fresh air like plants need CO2!
