Happy Father's Day
I just had to post these beautiful pictures of Dan and Mason that I took on Father's Day. And I also wanted to share my thoughts on Father's Day and Dan as a Father....
As all of us parents have discovered, parenthood is not easy, in fact it is probably one of the biggest challenges I have faced so far in my life. But it is one of those investments that has the BIGGEST returns! All the rewards are never ending with every smile, every lesson learned, every hug and every kiss, and even every tear...I love them all!
I love Mother's and Father's Day, because it gives us a moment to sit back and reflect on the kind of Mother and Father we are to our children and to remember our own Mothers and Fathers as well. Dan is everything I could have asked for as a Father to my children. We have had our challenging moments with Mason and some with Kenzie, but I love it when Dan looks over at me out of nowhere, and says "I love my children". He is so good with our children and I love seeing the smiles on his face when he looks at them. What a blessing it is to have been chosen by these little ones to enter into our lives.
